Specification:
• Diameter: 1.75 mm
• Net weight: 0.85 kg (without spool)
• Spool weight: 0.213 kg
Recommended printing settings:
• Printing temperature: 270–280 °C
• Bed temperature: 90–110 °C
• Printing speed: 40–250 mm/s (optimal 40–50 mm/s for maximum strength)
• Cooling fan: off (0%)
• Enclosure temperature: 45–60 °C (if available)
Note about the cooling fan:
ABS requires consistent heat, so it is best printed with the fan completely turned off. When layers do not cool too quickly, they bond better and result in stronger parts. If a smoother surface is preferred, light airflow (up to 20%) can be used from layer 3–4, but this slightly reduces interlayer adhesion. A heated enclosure naturally solves this issue, and the fan is not needed at all.
Material properties:
ABS is a strong, heat- and impact-resistant plastic designed for functional parts and prototypes. It is ideal for mechanical components, tools, automotive parts, and other engineering applications.
Tips for stronger ABS prints:
Dry the filament before printing – around 80 °C for 3–4 hours.
Moisture weakens layer bonding and can cause surface bubbles.
Print slower if you need maximum strength – optimal speed is 40–50 mm/s. Above 60–70 mm/s, the plastic may not fully melt and can become more brittle.
Maintain a stable temperature inside the enclosure or a closed environment to prevent warping and cracking.
Ensure a strong first layer – use a PEI surface for best adhesion.
Advantages:
High quality – made in Lithuania (Filacraft)
Precise 1.75 mm diameter
Resistant to heat and chemicals
Can be post-processed (sanding, acetone smoothing)
Fast delivery across Lithuania and the Baltic region
