TPU 3D plastic black 1.75 mm 1 kg | FILACRAFT
TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) A93 is a flexible and wear-resistant 3D printing material that offers high elasticity, durability, and chemical resistance. It is widely used for functional parts that require flexibility and mechanical strength.
Main Properties of TPU A93 Plastic:
- High flexibility and elasticity: Allows for the production of flexible parts that can bend and stretch without breaking.
- Wear and abrasion resistance: Provides excellent durability, making it ideal for applications requiring long-term use.
- Chemical resistance: Resistant to oils, greases, and many other chemicals, making it suitable for industrial applications.
- Good printing quality: TPU A93 ensures high printing accuracy and a smooth surface when the correct printing speed and temperature are used.
- Shock and impact resistance: The material can absorb shocks well, making it great for protective parts and dampers.
Areas of Use:
- Flexible parts: Seals, gaskets, grips, and vibration-dampening components.
- Wear-resistant products: Wheels, tires, protective covers.
- Industrial and automotive applications: Flexible joints, belts, and other mechanical components requiring elasticity and strength.
TPU A93 Recommended Print Settings:
- Diameter: 1.75 mm
- Weight: 1 kg net (without reel)
- Spool weight: 0.213 kg
- Printing temperature: 230°C – 240°C
- Bed temperature: 35°C – 45°C
- Printing speed: 15–30 mm/s
- Cooling fan: Recommended for better print quality and surface finish.
- Table adhesion: PEI sheet, blue painter’s tape, or glue stick to improve first-layer adhesion.
- Extruder type: A direct drive extruder is recommended for optimal feeding and print quality.
Post-Printing Processing:
- TPU can be cut, drilled, or glued using specialized adhesives.
- Material remains flexible after printing, making it easy to handle and use in functional applications.
Advantages Compared to Other Flexible Filaments:
- More durable and wear-resistant than softer TPU grades.
- Easier to print than very soft TPU (A85 or lower).
- Stronger chemical resistance than standard flexible filaments.
